I'm Still Standing

Have you ever heard the saying “ sometimes the most difficult roads often lead to the most beautiful destinations” ???

After the past 2 years I’ve had, I couldn’t agree with that statement more and has become a battle cry for me and my life.

I’ve had to face things and have conversations I never imagined at 30 years old I would have to face.

But as long, hard and dark as those roads got, as much as it hurt and as scary as it was, looking back I’d walk that exact road again 1,000 times over to get me here.

Sure, there are some things I wished I would have done or handled differently that I carry with me on a daily basis. Things I’m not proud of. We all make mistakes and that’s just life..

But that battle and those struggles have shaped me into who I am today. I wear those scars and the one down the middle of my spine as a badge of honor. That all fuels the mission I am on to help as many people as I possibly can with #TheTriumphantLife and #TheTriumphantAgent Movements.

So here’s to those out there walking down a long, dark and scary road.

To those out there fighting their own mountains and battles. Just keep going.

One step at a time. One foot in front of the other. Because those dark clouds ☁️ don’t last forever. Eventually the skies part and the sun ☀️ comes out.

Just keep f*cking going and don’t look back. You got this and I believe in you!

And life, you might have thrown me some giant curve balls ⚾️, Actually so many I might as well be playing in the big leagues now. I took your best shot and you hit hard kid... for sure. Definitely knocked me off my feet, flat on my back and took me out of the game for almost 2 years...

But I don’t think you knew how tough us South Side Chicago Irish ☘️ boys are.

I took your hardest shot on the chin and now I’m better, stronger and more alive than ever because of it!

I think Elton John said it best in his song “I’m still standing”...

“Don't you know I'm still standing better than I ever did Looking like a true survivor, feeling like a little kid I'm still standing after all this time Picking up the pieces of my life without you on my mind I'm still standing yeah yeah yeah”
